Uta Milow was born in Berlin, Germany. She attended the University of Mannheim, Germany, and the University of Oregon, USA. After finishing a Master’s Degree in Economics at the University of Mannheim she continued her studies with a PhD-program in Economics at Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen, Germany, with a scholarship of the doctorate program of the state of Baden-Württemberg. During this time she participated in an interdisciplinary post graduate research program on European integration (political science, law and economics).
After professional experience in the banking sector she started teaching at university level. Since 2000 she is lecturer/professor of economics at the School of Business FHNW.
Today she is Programme Manager of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is responsible for all Executive Education programmes of the Institute of Management. She is involved in several university management tasks.
