Prof Dr Kit Braybrooke visited Delhi and Goa for an intercultural exchange
Prof. Dr Kit Braybrooke, head of the Transversal Design Master's programme at the HGK Basel, was a guest in India in March 2025 for an exchange project funded by Pro Helvetia, where she conducted field research and workshops.
Prof Dr Kit Braybrooke was invited to India this March on behalf of MA Transversal Design and IXDM Critical Media Lab on an intercultural exchange for the seed project ‘Feral hacking for ecological regeneration’, co-hosted with UnBox Cultural Futures and funded by Pro Helvetia.
The delegation included field research and roundtables with communities working on the front lines of climate emergency in Delhi and Goa, and a sold-out community mapping workshop at the first What Design Can Do festival in India ‘Calling all hackers and makers for climate! <3’ with over 80 changemakers, including students from The Design Village.
