Joachim is a Professor of Business Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, specializing in digital supply chain technologies. Holding a PhD from the University of St.Gallen and an MSc from Mannheim University, his practical expertise lies in software for supply chain, transportation, and global trade.
Joachim stands for tech-centric, digital-first courses for Digital Supply Chain Management at FHNW’s Bachelor and Master levels, enriched with case studies co-developed with industry.
Beyond the classroom, Joachim maintains strong ties with industry, including companies building GenAI and Quantum applications, and the hyperscalers enabling mass adoption.
