Centre of Ventures in Asia

Built on the Institute of Management’s focus topics, the Centre bundles various activities, involved individuals and their competencies and puts them into the Asian context.

Bringing together practitioners, academics and policymakers in the international entrepreneurship and innovation space, the Centre creates synergies between activities spanning research and development, (higher) education as well as start-up and innovation support. Exemplary activities include the following:

• Swiss-International MBA Programme as a blended-learning variant of the campus-based MBA FHNW
• MBA Management Consulting International Programme in partnership with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology
• Swiss Innovation Challenge ASEAN in selected countries across Asia

All activities are pursued in close collaboration with key stakeholders across Asia to ensure integrated value and impact. Beyond trusted partner universities in the region, strong partnerships are fostered with public and private sector organisations as well as other essential players in local business ecosystems. This does not only provide relevant thematic insights but also relevant cross-cultural understanding.
