Content
The rich and diverse repertoire for vocal ensembles in Renaissance and Baroque European music. Intensive weeks including rehearsal, vocal technique, language coaching, music history, cultural background, preparation of materials, public presentation and close feedback.
Goals
Highest level in vocal ensemble singing; leading an ensemble from within the group; development and realization of own performance projects, addressing different repertoires of and approaches to vocal ensemble singing.
Participation in AVES is available as elective for vocal students enrolled in a master program at the SCB.

About AVES
Developed by Anthony Rooley and Evelyn Tubb (formerly Consort of Musicke), AVES has been offered since the fall semester 2008/09. In the meantime the teaching staff has changed, but the general aims remain the same.
