      The activities in research & development take place in the five institutes of the university and the focus in research is aligned accordingly.

      Central offices for research & development

      The Research Department is responsible for Open Science as well as the cross-institutional coordination of research activities at the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW. It is part of the staff of the university.
