Reffnet 1-3

Promoting a resource-efficient economy with innovative, tailor-made, measurable and economical solutions, thus making an important contribution to the efficient and sustainable use of resources.

The FHNW School of Life Sciences is a member of the association and contributes with its experts to reducing the environmental impact and the dependence of Swiss companies on raw materials. To this end, the methods of cleaner production, industrial symbiosis and life cycle assessment are applied. Within the framework of Reffnet, more than ten Swiss companies from the food production, metal and wood processing, hottelerie and catering sectors have been able to reduce their ecological footprint and cut costs.
