Vicent holds a Bachelor in Chemistry from the University of Valencia, and Master and PhD in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling from the Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier University and the Autonomous University of Madrid, respectively. During his PhD, he focused on the development of computational chemistry programs to describe the photoionization of molecules after their interaction with ultrashort laser pulses.
After his PhD, he joined the R&D department of Qnami AG to contribute to the implementation, automatization and testing of new quantum measurement protocols for the room temperature scanning NV (nitrogen-vacancy) center microscope.
In September 2024, he joined the Bioprocess Technology Laboratory at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). He will focus on the development of ready-to-use calibration models for the application of Raman spectroscopy in bioprocesses
