Research

Our research focuses on developing production processes for pharmaceutical compounds using living cells, ranging from proteins and complex structures to cell and gene therapy applications. We engineer production cells and design scalable processes, concluding with product purification. Our work adopts Process Analytical Technology (PAT) combined with process modeling and machine learning to automate and intensify biomanufacturing.
