Welcoming our guest from Ethiopia

Our competence center Digital Trust is very happy to welcome our guest Tesfaye Bayu Bati from Hawassa University, Ethiopia at our offices in Basel. Supported by the SNF Scientific Exchange program, our guest is staying in Switzerland for one month.

During that time, we are contributing to an increasingly important question for developing countries: “How to increase cybersecurity in IT-supported agriculture ecosystems”? Basing upon the NIST framework, we are working towards contextualized guidelines fostering digital trust. During our kick-off research session, we identified Hevner’s Design Science Research as a suitable approach to reach a relevant and rigor result.
