Laura Suter-Dick chairs session on implementation of New Approach Methodologies
18. December 2024
On December 13, 2024 in Bern, Prof. Dr. Laura Suter-Dick presented state-of-the-art methodologies and chaired a session at the 3RCC symposium on Successfully Implementing New Approach Methodologies: Practical Applications in Drug Development and Clinical Practice.
The presentations discussed successes and challenges in implementing the 3Rs (Reduce, Refine and Replace animal models) in clinical and preclinical research. Laura then facilitated a round table that included clinicians, researchers from the pharma industry, academics, and representatives of Swissmedic.
The Cell Biology and in vitro Toxicology group is committed to implementing the 3Rs. Thanks to Jeffrey Hunter https://www.jeffreyhunter.dk/ for the amazing photographs!
