MAR2PROTECT is a four-year European research project that implements a holistic approach to prevent groundwater contamination from the impacts of climate change and global change, through different innovative technologies.
In the project, the Corvini group develops 3-D printed biofilms to eliminate micropollutants in wastewater used to recharge aquifers.
The EU consortium is funded by the European Commission. The participation of FHNW is supported by the Swiss state secretariat for education, research and innovation (SERI).
