Congratulations 🎉 to Guilherme Baumgarten on the successful defense

Guilherme Baumgarten, a doctoral student at FHNW School of Life Sciences, Institute for Medical Engineering and Medical Informatics and at the iCube laboratory at the Universität Straßburg, defended on Wednesday his doctoral thesis entitled “Development and characterization of an NMR portable probe for the monitoring of water quality and for the study of the kinetics of chemical reactions”. The thesis was directed by Morgan Madec (iCube) and co-supervised by Luc Hebrard (iCube) and Joris Pascal (Hochschule für Life Sciences FHNW).
Guilherme Baumgarten answered numerous questions, demonstrating his in-depth knowledge of a wide-ranging subject. He was able to provide pertinent answers to questions concerning both electronic devices and NMR techniques.
At the end of the defense and after admission, Guilherme took an oath of scientific integrity in the tradition of the doctoral school.
