The novel thermostat prototype from Tool-Temp was implemented in the RC1 at Siegfried.
The thermostat offers tailored solutions for low-flow applications (<<30 kg/h) featuring advanced sensor technology for calorimetry, including Coriolis for mass flow measurement. With active cooling (Peltier) and heating capabilities, the prototype covers a wide temperature range from -20 to 150°C with ±0.5°C/s precision. The system handles three different fluids (water/glycol, silicone oil, isopropanol) with automatic filling, venting, and draining.
