Scanning electron microscope image of a waveguide grating after surface modification. Scale bar = 1µm
Improved sensing of biomolecular interactions leads to earlier disease detection. We aim for a reflective dual grating biosensor, where a colorimetric immunoassay is measured in reflection mode, including a built-in reference. It will enable us to measure low sample volumes and in turbid solutions.
