      Themenschwerpunkte

      Wissam Wahbeh beschäftigt sich mit der Modellierungstechnologien. Dazu gehört zum einen die Modellierung des Bestehenden auf der Grundlage von 3D-Daten, die mit automatischen Vermessungssystemen wie Photogrammetrie und Laserscanning erfasst wurden. Zum anderen die Modellierung für Entwurf und Analyse, einschliesslich Computational Design und prozeduraler Modellierung.

      Wissam Wahbeh schloss sein Architektur Studium an der Universität Damaskus im Jahr 2006 ab und erwarb einen Master-Abschluss in Architekturgeschichte an der Universität "Roma Tre" und erhielt seinen Doktortitel an der Universität Rom "Sapienza" in "Architectural Representation" im Jahr 2011. Er hat in Italien Lehrtätigkeiten im Bereich Modellierung, Vermessung und BIM ausgeübt und hat in verschiedenen Architekturbüros als Entwurfsarchitekt gearbeitet. Von 2015 bis 2017 führte er seine Post-Doc-Forschung an der FHNW am Institut für Geomatik durch.
