The Digital Transformation Canvas - Develop and implement your digital strategy

With the rise of AI, the next wave of digital transformation is on our doorstep. Many businesses seek guidance to identify digital opportunities and develop their digital roadmap to benefit from new digital technology. The new book "The Digital Transformation Canvas" from FHNW School of Business Professor Marc K Peter provides practical guidance to organisations.

Over the past years, the research team from the Competence Centre Digital Transformation at the FHNW School of Business engaged with thousands of participants in various research projects – through surveys, workshops and case studies – in order to identify the guiding action fields of digital transformation and provide practical tools so business owners and executives are empowered to develop their digital strategy with an agile and lean methodology.

The result is a practical book on digital transformation with many checklists and templates. Professor Marc K Peter said that "as an academic, my goal is to empower others to advance". The new book allows the school's community – students, business owners, associations and other stakeholders – to develop a digital roadmap for sustainable and responsible business development in the digital age. The book also forms the basis for the TICE (Technologies for International Customer Engagement) module, taught in FHNW's MSc International Management program.

«This book is for every small business wondering if the digital revolution will help them fly or just kill them. The practical and low-cost approach to developing a digital roadmap will be of value to all businesses. »

Professor Helena Barnard, University of Pretoria, South Africa
