Since 2006, Prof. Andreas Reber has been the head of the undergraduate bachelor’s programme in Wirtschaftsinformatik at the School of Business HSW, FHNW. He was instrumental in the redesign of this programme into a bachelor's degree in accordance with the Bologna guidelines. In addition, he created the English-language programme Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology (the counterpart to Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik).
Since 2002, he has worked as a lecturer in the German- and English-language bachelor’s and master’s programmes at the FHNW or at its predecessor institution, the University of Applied Sciences Solothurn.
Before that, Andreas Reber worked in industry and in business in various functions in the transport and software line. His areas of work included project management and management functions in the evaluation and application of new technologies in software development and informatics.
Andreas Reber studied computer science, mathematics and business administration at the University of Berne.
