Lisette Spinnler
Born in 1976, raised in Wittinsburg, lives in Liestal. Played the piano at 10, at 17 voice lessons. Jazz studies at the Music Academy Basel (Sandy Patton and Susanne Abbuehl).1999 scholarship from the Friedl Wald Foundation, her first Award/Accolade (Jury member George Gruntz) first own band. 2001 winner of the Chrysler Jazz awards at the Montreux Jazz festival (Jury member Thierry Lang/Peter Schmidlin). 2003 the nomination of the Lisette Spinnler quartet for the ZKB finals in moods Zurich. Nomination for Suisse Diagonales Jazz. 2004 Kantonalbank prize from the Anniversary Foundation of the Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank. 2005 formation of the quintet Siawaloma with Colin Vallon, Patrice Moret, Alex Hendiksen and Michi Stulz. 2006 lecturer for majors at the Music Academy, Jazz Campus Basel. 2010 formation of the duo Stiefel-Spinnler, singing, piano-inspired vocals. 2014 resumption of Siawaloma as the Lisette Spinnler quartet with Stefan Aeby, Patrice Moret, Michi Stulz. 2016 specialist prize music des Kantons Baselland. Many tours and concerts locally and abroad including with the European Jazz Youth Orchestra, Cojazz, Braff-Oester-Rohrer.
