kunst/mobil
The kunst/mobil project examines the contribution of artistic ways of thinking and working in educational contexts, with a particular focus on the teaching of fine art the context of secondary education.
This does not preclude extracurricular projects. kunst/mobil is a project of the Institute of Art and Design Education. The project team consists of Institute employees and teaching staff. In terms of teaching methodologies, kunst/mobil is anchored in an art-based pedagogy and presents arguments based on artistic and design practice. The key issues that the project seeks to address centre on the field of artistic, project-like thinking processes and working methodologies in the teaching of fine arts. In this context, the development of design ideas and criteria that are not purely visual but also process and content-oriented is equally as important as communicating, embedding and testing such working methods. Various forms will be developed for future phases in a teaching context: kunst/mobil is designed to be fully adaptable and flexible with regard to change.
Working at the intersection of practice and theory, kunst/mobil brings together research and practical implementation and, by working together with teachers, makes it possible to build bridges between schools and university.
