At the Piston Engine Laboratory, we analyse compressors and engine processes in connection with process-improving measures, alternative renewable fuels and combustion processes.
Angebot
At the FHNW Piston Engine Laboratory, we support you in your research activities and industrial services with our compressors and engine test rigs. These include:
Sensor testing and development (pressure measurement, heat flux, …)
Injection evaluation: injection rate, concepts, …
Combustion process investigation (vs. simulation)
In cylinder emission/soot reduction (EGR/WFE)
Alternative fuel application
Additive testing
Exhaust gas emission measurements
