Tätigkeiten an der FHNW
Dozentin
Frau Prof. Dr. Barbara Miller studierte Physik in Cambridge und München (M.Phil und Dr. rer. nat.) und Betriebswirtschaft in Edinburgh (MBA). Ihre langjährige internationale Berufserfahrung umfasste Stabsfunktionen bei Siemens in Deutschland und Lloyds Banking Group in Grossbritannien. Sie leitete Projekte im Produktmarketing und in der Unternehmensstrategie für die High-Tech- und Finanzbranche. Sie war auch als Beraterin für kommerzielle Produktentwicklung und Unternehmensgründung tätig und baute die Marketingabteilung und operativen Geschäfte verschiedener Software Start-ups auf.
Seit 2011 ist Frau Prof. Dr. Barbara Miller an die Hochschule für Wirtschaft und fokussiert seitdem ihre Forschungs- und Beratungsprojekte sowie Lehrtätigkeiten auf das Thema Internationales Produkt- und Strategisches Marketing. Zusätzlich unterrichtet sie Statistik im neuen Studiengang BA Business Artifical Intelligence.
