Dr. Stephan Jüngling

    Since 2012, Stephan Jüngling has been a lecturer at the School of Business FHNW where he teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programmes Business Information Technology, International Management and Business Administration. Before that, he taught as an external lecturer at the School of Engineering FHNW in the fields of software engineering and Java design patterns.

    Previously, he worked at the UBS Business University and was responsible for the training of IT developers and IT architects. He was involved in the design and implementation of role-based training portfolios for IT project managers, business analysts and testers who support the change management process in order to change to an iterative software development process. He is the owner of a SixSigma Green Belt as well as a certified Scrum master.

    He worked in various IT disciplines, led a Java development team, was responsible for the construction and operation of document management platforms, or led projects in the field of electronic commerce and IT security in order to exploit the potential of innova-tive technologies for the bank.

    Stephan Jüngling studied electrical engineering at the ETH Zurich and subsequently received his doctorate in the field of simulation and modelling of SAW filters. After a one-year stay at the MIT in Boston, USA, doing research, he returned to the ETH and worked on the modelling of optical components. He has a didactic certificate for higher teacher’s training in the field of informatics from the ETH Zurich.
